The Director

Dr William (Bill) Coote was appointed as the Director of the Professional Services Review on 14 November 2011 for a three-year term following three months as Acting director from 14 August 2011.

Dr Coote has extensive experience in health policy, training and practice. He was previously the Secretary-General of the Australian Medical Association, the inaugural CEO of General Practice Education and Training Limited, and has operated a general practice in southern Queensland.
