Appendix 2 - Freedom of information statement
During 2005-06, PSR received six requests for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, five of which were made on behalf of the same person.
All relevant documents were released in relation to three of the five requests from the same person. In the other two requests some documents were released and exemption was claimed for other documents. The exempted documents are the subject of an application for review to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. The Tribunal heard the matter on 12 May 2006 and a decision is awaited (see Dr Saint's case).
In relation to the sixth request, all relevant documents were released (see Dr Bham's case).
