Report on performance

Performance

Medicare Australia sent 50 requests for review to PSR this year (see Table 1). This represents a return to normal workload input for PSR. However, the effect of the significant reduction in requests for review in 2004–05 and 2005–06 can still be seen in the number of Committee reports finalised this year.

As most of PSR’s business processes take more than a year to conclude, workload data cannot be reconciled within a 12-month period. The following discussion of performance relates to activities undertaken during 2007–08.

Table 1: Requests received from Medicare Australia, 2002–03 to 2007–08
2002–03 2003–04 2004–05 2005–06 2006–07 2007–08

A summary of PSR’s workload for the year is at Table 2.
