Director’s message
Welcome to the Summer 2026 edition of the PSR newsletter!
Panel Member Training Framework (PMTF) update
In-person training
This year, PSR will be running in-person training for Panel Members in August 2026. Stay tuned for more information on these sessions and we look forward to connecting face-to-face.
Stakeholder engagement
In 2026, we will continue to strengthen our relationships with key stakeholders through regular engagement with Medical Defence Organisations, medical and health colleges, sector organisations, and our informal Australian Health Regulators Network group. These partnerships remain central to our work and support ongoing collaboration across the health system.
Conference attendance
As part of this engagement, PSR will also be present at several major conferences throughout the year. These events provide valuable opportunities to share insights about our work and hear directly from and connect with medical professionals and sector leaders.
PSR will be attending:
- Practice Owners Conference (RACGP), 23- 24 May 2026, Sydney
- Australian Medical Association National Conference, 28- 29 August 2026, Melbourne
- Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) National Conference, 14 -16 September 2026, Adelaide
- Rural Medicine Australia National Conference (RMA26), 21-24 October 2026, Adelaide
- GP26 (RACGP), 20-22 November 2026, Adelaide
We look forward to seeing many of you at these events.
