Director’s message
Welcome to the Autumn 2026 edition of the PSR Panel Member newsletter.
As we progress through the year, I would like to thank Panel and DA Members and our consultants for your continued professionalism, expertise and commitment to PSR’s work. Your contribution remains central to supporting the integrity of Medicare and the effective operation of the PSR Scheme.
Panel Member resources update
Updated Handbook and Information Pack
An updated version of the Committee Member’s Handbook, as well as the 2026 Panel Members Information Pack are now available.
These documents bring together key information about Panel Member roles, committee processes and available supports, and are intended to support consistency and confidence in undertaking PSR work. Panel Members are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the updated materials.
The updated Committee Member’s Handbook also contains our statement on ‘Vision and values’ which includes APS Values, Committee vision and PSR Agency vision.
Panel Member Training Framework (PMTF) update
In‑person panel training – update
We are looking forward to welcoming Panel Members to upcoming in-person training sessions in August 2026.
We appreciate the strong level of interest in these sessions and are excited to connect with you face-to-face.
Agency activity
PSR continues to progress matters steadily this financial year, with 103 new referrals received and 10 cases finalised as at 5 May 2026.
